1

Add your children

Tell the planner each child's age so every list, price and picker is filtered to camps that actually take them.

2

Shortlist & compare

Browse the directory, tap ♥ on anything promising, then compare hours, prices and food side by side.

3

Fill the grid, watch the budget

Assign a camp (or annual leave, or grandparents) to each week. The planner totals the cost and flags uncovered weeks.

Shortlist

Compare your shortlist

Tap the ♥ on any camp card and it appears here, side by side — hours, prices, food and funding in one view.

Step 3 · The grid

Your summer, week by week

Tap any cell to choose a camp for that child and week — or mark it as annual leave, family cover or a friend swap. Costs use verified prices where published; everything else shows as “£?” until you confirm with the provider. Once you've actually booked a week, tick booked on its cell — the budget below counts your bookings. When it's settled, Add to calendar downloads the whole plan for your Apple, Outlook or Google calendar — every camp as an all-day event with venue, hours and booking link. Two ways to share: Tell other parents copies the plain planner link with no names and no plan — that's the one to post in a school group, and everyone who opens it gets their own private, blank planner. Share my plan (private) is different: it packs your children's names and camps into the link itself (nothing is uploaded), so only ever send that one to a partner or family — never a group.

Add a child above to unlock the grid. The planner builds one column per child across all six weeks of summer 2026.

Make it cheaper

Four ways to cut the bill

1 · Free HAF places

If your child gets benefits-related free school meals, the council's Holiday Activities & Food programme funds free camp places with a meal included. Summer sessions appear on the Eequ feed in the run-up to the holidays.

2 · Tax-Free Childcare — 20% off

For every £8 you pay in, the government adds £2 (up to £500 every 3 months per child, usually until the September after their 11th birthday). The provider must be Ofsted-registered and signed up — ask for their registration number before paying.

3 · Sibling & early-bird discounts

Several providers knock money off for second children or early booking — it's flagged on the camp cards. Booking two children into the same camp the same week is also the easiest drop-off logistics you'll ever have.

4 · Mix the week types

The classic money-saving pattern: anchor must-work weeks with a full-day club (£36–£65/day), drop in one special week your child will rave about (theatre, science — £150–£345/week), and cover the rest with annual leave and family. The planner prices each mix as you build it.

How to read this: HAF places are seasonal and eligibility-led. This table is the public Eequ feed as captured on 10 June 2026 — entries named “Summer” are highlighted, and the feed says summer bookings open 9am Monday 22 June. The live booking page is always the source of truth.
